Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
Remember when the Spurs were a bad team? That was a long time ago, last year to be precise. The Spurs are 1-2 in 2020, but they’ve played competitively in all of the games, and played their best game of the year on Monday night when they routed Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Tonight, they’re in Boston for a game against the second-place Celtics, who are smarting (see what I did there?) after a loss to the lowly Washington Wizards. Look for Kemba Walker and Jalen Brown to take out their frustration on the Silver and Black tonight. Three point ace LaMarcus Aldridge has been spacing the floor for the good guys, creating lots of room for DeMar DeRozan to create shots for Lonnie Walker, Bryn Forbes and the rest of the Spurs. It’s going to be a fun night, but the game starts early, so get your DVR revved up and watch the game. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
