The San Antonio Spurs support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Spurs Sports & Entertainment continue to promote awareness for causes reflecting health and community.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

With all that Spurs Sports & Entertainment and the Silver & Black Give Back (SBGB) do in the community, it is no surprise that Spurs staff stopped by Methodist Children’s Hospital to play with the children and spread a little joy.

On a personal note, my daughter broke her arm last February and we were sent directly to Methodist Children’s Hospital. Considering what a stressful and scary time that was, my wife and I were grateful for the level of care given to our child as well as the attention given to us to let us know every step of the way what was going on. Our respect and admiration for what the doctors, nurses, and staff of every level do for families in their most vulnerable state is massive.

Once again, I am always proud to be a Spurs fan and so grateful for the love they show the community.
