Team USA’s potential to disrupt Pop’s legacy

This World Cup season has not been the smoothest.

Although it was an exhibition game on Saturday, Team USA lost its first international game since 2006, breaking a 78-game winning streak.

Even before these FIBA World Cup warm up games began, NBA stars were dropping like flies.

If this 2019 version of Team USA does not continue its history of dominance, will the legacy of Gregg Popovich suffer in any way? Or does the outcome of this summer speak more of the players and the state of the NBA itself with its load management and injured superstars?
