The last time Manu Ginobili was on a basketball court with the intent to play a game was April 24, 2018. Since then, he has been enjoying the retired life with family vacations and some occasional visits to the Spurs practice facility to mentor and work out.
That all changed yesterday when he decided to hit the court for the first time, with a little hesitance of how it would go along the way.
Hoy jugaré mi primer partidito de básquet en 16 meses! Ni idea cómo terminaré, pero posiblemente MAL!

Today I'll play my first basketball game in 16 months! Curious to see how it feels, but probably not great...
If the GIF he later tweeted was any indication, he might be a little rusty.

Afterwards, he appeared pretty tuckered out, as did his presumed opponent: fellow former Spur Matt Bonner. (Or teammate? Not really sure how many participated in this pick-up game.)
Así quedamos con @mattbonner_15 después del partido de hoy... ♂️

That's how we ended up with @mattbonner_15 after today's game. ♂️ pic.twitter.com/RtqDCS6Oo1
Although Bonner thought they actually looked pretty rad.

In fairness, I imagine I’d look far worse if I decided to play a soccer game again for the first time in ten(ish) years. Glad to see you back on the court, Manu! Next step: being ready to coach.
