Las Vegas Summer League: Spurs vs. Raptors Game Thread

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

The Spurs have played 7 quarters in Las Vegas Summer League and are 1-1. Tonight’s game against the Raptors is the next to last scheduled game for them in SL before Wednesday night at 8:00 PM against the Suns. The Summer League tournament starts on Friday, and the Spurs will play at least two games in the tourney before they finally leave Las Vegas next week.

Lonnie Walker IV returns to the lineup tonight, after resting in yesterday’s victory against the Hornets. The rookie trio of Luka Samanic, Keldon Johnson, and Quinndary Weatherspoon all played really well against the Hornets, and it will be interesting to see if they can keep it up on the second day of a back-to-back. Go Spurs Go!
