The list posted seventeen players on the roster. Highlighting the Spurs Summer League so far are 2018 draft picks Lonnie Walker IV and Chimezie Metu, the trio of 2019 picks Luka Samanic, Keldon Johnson, and Quinndary Weatherspoon, as well as both 2018 two-way players Drew Eubanks and Ben Moore.
Today Jabari Young reported that Ben Moore was not to be extended a qualifying offer from the Spurs. That said, he is remaining on the Summer League roster at this time.
League sources tell @TheAthleticNBA #Spurs will not extend qualifying offer to Ben Moore. He'll now be an unrestricted free agent but still head to Utah and Las Vegas to play with Summer League squad unless signed by another team … Moore already getting interest around #NBA pic.twitter.com/k3FTu8sHMO

Adding Samanic and Johnson to the roster would fill thirteen of the available fifteen roster spots.

13 Guaranteed: Aldridge, DeRozan, Murray, White, Forbes, Mills, Belinelli, Bertans, Poeltl, Walker IV, Metu, Samanic, Johnson
2 spots open
Two-way: Eubanks and Weatherspoon
Signing Rudy Gay would leave one roster spot left for the Spurs to start the 2019-2020 season.
There’s a lot going on in the NBA, and it’s about to get busier with just over two weeks of Summer League action, not to mention that free agency officially kicks off tomorrow evening.
I’m on a plane in just under 48 hours to Salt Lake City and I hope to get to know some of the players vying for that final roster spot. Some of the names are familiar, some brand new. Each has already cleared one hurdle and that’s earning the opportunity to play with the Silver & Black.
