It’s time for Spurs vs. Thunder

San Antonio faces a talented Oklahoma team as they fight for a playoff spot

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Welcome to the game thread. The Spurs have shown that they can compete against anyone at home, and they are going to need to pile up the home wins late in the season to secure a playoff spot. Russell Westbrook and the Thunder are going to provide a tough test for the Spurs tonight, but the Spurs might just catch a break with Paul George possibly missing tonight’s game due to a shoulder injury. LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan and Derrick White are always great, but at home, we can expect at least one role player to have a solid contribution. My prediction is that Patty Mills is going to have a great night shooting the ball. Watch tonight and let’s see how it goes. Go Spurs GO!
