Lonnie Walker IV is having a breakout party against the Rockets. He entered the game in the first quarter and got all of Marco Belinelli’s minutes, but it’s what he did in the fourth quarter that is eye-popping: scoring 19 points to bring the Spurs back from 22 points down to force overtime, including the game-tying three.
His points came in all manners, including multiple threes, drive to the baskets, and one nasty, sky-walking dunk.

This was after energizing the Spurs bench early in the game after another classic slow start. If there’s any more questions as to whether he should be getting regular minutes or not, then I don’t know what else to tell you.
