Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
There’s a rumor that there’s a guy who plays for the Clippers who used to play for the Silver and Black. Maybe it was that guy who quit on the team a couple of years ago, but I barely remember that guy. Meanwhile, the youth movement on the Spurs is fully engaged, with Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Lonnie Walker IV finally unleashed in the comeback victory over the Nets. It isn’t always pretty, but it’s always fun to watch. All kidding aside, the Clippers, with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George finally meshing, are going to be extremely hard for the Spurs to stop. The defense has been improving for the Spurs, and DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge always seem to show up in big games like tonight’s. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
