This was how it started.

And just like the movies, the ending was all that had been built up.
There will be plenty of game analysis, but what I was most impressed with was just being there. I went to support my team on a theme night that makes me happy. And although I was rooting for the Spurs, I was there no matter what the outcome of the game.
I don’t leave early to beat traffic. I don’t bail when the game is out of reach either way. I get there early to soak up the environment and I stay seated throughout the game. And this was one of those where every moment mattered.
The crowd was great and into it. And even though the Silver & Black started slow, once they were in it, the fans were in it too.
I missed that feeling. You don’t get that watching on television. You have to be in thick of it.
If you haven’t made it to a game yet this season, what are you waiting for?
