The Spurs are in the Big Apple to face the Knicks on the second night of a back-to-back

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Eight. That’s how many games the Spurs have lost in a row, and tonight it might reach nine. The Spurs have a decent chance to end their streak tonight, but they’re on the second night of a back-to-back and Dejounte Murray won’t be available [load management]. Derrick White is likely to be out with foot soreness, so the Spurs might roll with Patty Mills in the starting lineup. Rudy Gay was a bright spot in Sixers game last night, so maybe he can have a big impact in tonight’s contest against the Knicks. Go SPURS GooOOOoo!!
