The Spurs are playing at a franchise-best pace

The Silver & Black are setting an impressive mark to kick off 2019-2020.

The Spurs are off to a good start. Although their games have all been close and down to the wire, they are one of four teams in the NBA to still be undefeated.

And more than that, they have started the season surpassing their previous best pace by over five possessions per game.

The graphic at the top of the telecast told it all.

No doubt the youth movement mixed with the fourteen second reset clock has quickened the pace. That said, you still have to score — and win. And San Antonio’s been doing both.

The Spurs are off until Halloween when they hit the road to California for a back-to-back starting off in Los Angeles against the Clippers.

How’s the season treating you so far?
