Marco Belinelli passes Rasheed Wallace from beyond the arc

New, comments

His second run with the Spurs is as impressive as his first.

NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves at San Antonio Spurs Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Two nights ago in Minneapolis, Spurs swingman Marco Belinelli hit 3 3-pointers to bring his grand total to 1,088. He is currently 84th all-time, passing Rasheed Wallace who retired with 1,086.

With the hot hand Belinelli has exhibited over the last few weeks, it is likely he will pass Dana Barros (1.090) and Mo Williams (1,094) very soon.

Tonight the Spurs host the Los Angeles Clippers for an early tip off. The Silver & Black will need Belinelli’s continued brilliance on the floor to keep the Race for Seis alive.

Go! Spurs! Go!
