Reverse Poll- The reason Kawhi was not with the Spurs at Oracle for Game 1

The Silver & Black need their leader by their side

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Detroit Pistons Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

This is the time to be positive. The Spurs had a rough start, but they have the best head coach in NBA history. This is the time for adjustments and finesse.

But the questions yesterday loomed- where was Kawhi Leonard? Why was he not on the sidelines with his comrades?

Other than the moral support that Kawhi can contribute, his role in street clothes is undefined at this point. To be honst, I’d like to see Tim Duncan on the sidelines. Or David Robinson. If anyone is going to motivate and spout wisdom, either of the Spurs retired legends would be great.

But why is Kawhi not there? Instead of offering reasons and taking a poll, you —the Pounders — will brainstorm the reason Kawhi is not there.

But let’s keep it positive. Until there is a reason to be concerned, let’s not load up on conspiracy theory. This isn’t some network filling time with unnamed sources and hearsay.

So, what do you think?

Tomorrow, we brawl again. Let’s give the Spurs our full support and Go Spurs Go!
