It’s time for Spurs vs. Jazz

After the big win over the Lakers, the Spurs look for redemption over the Jazz

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Utah Jazz Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Welcome to the game thread. Are you experiencing a sense of deja vu? Again? Well, it was less than a week ago that the Spurs faced the Jazz in Utah, and got blown out. Then the Silver and Black faced the Lakers twice, losing the first, and earning a feel-good win in the second with a breakout fourth quarter for a come from behind win. The Spur hope to keep that rolling on the second game of their 6 game home stand, but Donovan Mitchell, Derrick Favors, and Rudy Gobert aren’t going to make it easy. If the Spurs can make key stops and a complementary player like Davis Bertans can help out LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, they can win this game and put them back on the path towards perhaps a playoff spot. Go Spurs GO!
