It’s time for Spurs vs. Lakers

The Spurs face the Lakers for the second time this week

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Lakers Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Welcome to the game thread. Are you experiencing a sense of deja vu? If it seems just a few days ago that the Spurs were playing the Lakers, it’s probably because it was. But tonight’s game is in San Antonio at the AT&T Center, and Spurs fans are hoping for a different result, as the Spurs try to finish out the season series on against the Lakers on a winning note in their fourth and final game against them this season. I’m not a basketball genius, but I think that the key to the game might be making sure the LeBron James doesn’t get open shots in the fourth quarter, because letting him shoot didn’t really work in Wednesday’s game. Go Spurs GO!
