Gregg Popovich is so TRUE about Kawhi

When Coach Pop speak everybody listens, most of them he is right. When he criticise the league or his player or even a play you much watch him how people will react to him. All Time greats respect him, others loves to play for him except if you're a quitter.

"Kawhi was a great player, but he wasn't a leader," Popovich

Its make Popovich salty? No he's not, he moves on. Pop can make his team better whoever your personnel is. He is right what he says, instances that Kawhi is not a leader.

2014 NBA Finals game 5, yes he did a lot of damage with LeBron and he is the MVP. But it’s Manu Ginobili who start a run and Tony Parker finished the games where he didn’t miss a shot in final quarter. Leaders immerge when needed, leaders got killer instinct. There are some good players who can score or give a great defence on a play and Kahwi is one of it. But a leader can motivate you in any way unless you’re a quitter.

2015 first rounds playoffs, when people start talking he takeover the team people anticipate him to give the team a chance to fight for every game. He only had a great one game in game three, you’re a franchise player but you only like a role player. The MVP is still Timmy who battled in one leg with young and athletic pair of Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan. It’s worst to look at it, right?

2018 injured season, played for nine games only and left with the team. Hired his own medical team because he didn’t trusts the team’s doctors. The Spurs didn’t play him right from the start of the season just to make him healthy and ready. There are some games like back to back that he is resting or on the road he is not travelling with the team just for additional rest. He put the Spurs and his teammates to a "guess" if he can play or can he be with the team. And later on demanded for a trade.

A leader speak for themselves, for his teammates and for the fans who love him. Don’t worry Kawhi as you respond to POP statement we ‘forgot’, yeah we forgot you the last thing we can remember for you is how you "quit".
