Tony Parker is back with the San Antonio Spurs after his brief stint with the Austin Spurs, SA’s G-League affiliate as part of his rehabilitation process.
TP is still recovering from a ruptured left quadriceps tendon that he suffered during the Western Conference semifinals. He spent a week in Austin before returning to San Antonio.
Parker is a vital part of this team, and if they can’t have Kawhi Leonard quite yet, Tony is the next best option. Something to keep in mind is this: Gregg Popovich said Parker would not return until he is “100 percent.”
Maybe Parker is nearly ready to play.
