The Spurs will be without a point guard Saturday evening against Phoenix in Mexico City.
The club announced Friday afternoon that rookie guard Dejounte Murray will miss the game with a sprained right ankle.
Murray logged career-highs with 10 minutes and 10 points Thursday night in San Antonio’s 134-94 win over the Lakers.
The rookie point guard has averaged 2.7 points in his 20 games for the Spurs.
San Antonio and Phoenix are set for a 5 p.m. CT tipoff Saturday.
