The Spurs are on the cusp of becoming something new. As San Antonio exits the Big Three era with the retirement of Tim Duncan, and after saying goodbye to most of last year's frontcourt, it's only fair for fans to wonder at how all of these new pieces will fit together. It's to be expected that we will speculate about whether Davis Bertans or David Lee will be playing with Dewayne Dedmon.
So why did Seth Warren, my co-host, make it so hard to have a simple conversation about the next iteration of the Spurs? I wish I knew, but it makes for an interesting conversation nonetheless. Along the way, we mention the infamous and fictitious Tim Kness (while I make an unsuccessful attempt to remember the phrase "equipment manager"), Seth talks about embracing the nightmare, and teases a discusstion of "kidney stones and trump cards."
