Well, the Boris Diaw era in San Antonio sure was fun. He made us smile incessantly, and gave us great moments galore. Unfortunately, that era has come to an end. In a cap clearing move, the Spurs have traded the lovable big man to the Utah Jazz.
Per The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski:
San Antonio has traded forward Boris Diaw to the Utah Jazz, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Jazz sending rights to 2015 second-round pick Olivier Hanlan, who played overseas last year. Deal allows the Spurs space to sign Pau Gasol.

An impending deal for Boris was seemingly guaranteed ever since free agent Pau Gasol agreed to come to San Antonio to join the Spurs’ deep core.
