The Spurs signing David Lee is a good thing

Any time you can add a veteran who can give you the points and rebounds Lee can, it's not bad. When you get him for the league minimum, it's decidedly good.

On Thursday, the Spurs reportedly signed another forward, David Lee, to bolster their frontcourt. And after a week's hiatus, Seth Warren and I got together to discuss it on the 16th episode of the Superfluous Poppycock Podcast. Seth really likes the move, and talks about what Lee can do. I'm glad that he'll be coming off the bench.

We also take a look at all of the turnover that San Antonio has seen with its big men this off-season, and look at the new guys -- from Dewayne Dedmon (whose first name I forget for a second) to Pau Gasol and Davis Bertans.

Then we take time to delve into the whole Russell Westbrook thing that happened last week, and talk about Sam Presti's adorable audacity before we get into the unnecessary foolishness of the week. Which doesn't involve anyone on the Spurs roster, but bugged me all the same.
