A flurry of signings round out Spurs roster

The pieces are starting to fall into place as the Spurs sign players to their 2016-2017 roster.

It's contract Thursday at Spurs headquarters as the salary cap pieces began to fall into place and the Spurs signed several players.

First round draft pick DeJounte Murray, Dewayne Dedmon, Bryn Forbes, Davis Bertans, and Pau Gasol all signed contracts.  Per club policy details of the contracts were not released.  Forbes and Murray were on the Spurs Summer League team, and Bertans was with the team in Las Vegas but did not play due to his contract status. Dedmon formerly played for Orlando.

Also Ryan Arciadiacono, point guard from Villanova, and another Summer League player has signed, and there are reports that Manu Ginobili will be finalizing his contract and his signing should be announced briefly. There's still no word on the contract status of Livio Jean-Charles. Since he is a first round draft pick, he has a cap hold until he's either signed, renounced, or signs overseas. According the cap calculations I've seen so far, the Spurs don't seem to have room left to sign any players except at the NBA minimum, unless R.C. Buford can work some cap magic.

The roster is now almost complete, but the Spurs may end up adding a few more players before the season starts for the training camp roster.

UPDATE: Manu has been signed for reportedly $14 million.
