Danny Green is an exception to the rule

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

When Danny Green blocked Kevin Durant's shot on Saturday night, I knew it was a big deal.

But until I saw this tweet by Royce Young (who watches as much Thunder basketball as anyone I know) I didn't know just how big a deal it was.

So, to be sure we're all up to speed. In the last month or so, the starting shooting guard for the Spurs has: a) blocked a three-pointer by Stephen Curry, who never or rarely gets blocked from distance, and b) blocked a three-pointer by Kevin Durant, who never or rarely gets blocked from distance.

And now he's hitting his threes too.

Not bad, Mr. Green. Let it fly.
