I can see the past few days in the Spurs locker room now:
Butler: So you hear they signed Martin?
Bonner: Ya...he's supposed to give us more depth on the perimeter.
It seems that you can not mention one without the other these days. Both are on pace to finish with a winning percentage of .805 or higher; an accomplishment that has never been done by two teams in the same season before.
How awesome would it be to see TP drive the truck and Boris slinging croissants and espressos out the window?
Our Editor-in-Chief J.R. Wilco recently went on The Phil Naessens Show, and said he was not going to start analyzing how well Lamarcus Aldridge was fitting in with the Spurs until after the All-Star Game. I know J.R. is happy to see that Aldridge is finally resembling the offensive monster he was on the Trailblazers.
Whenever I hear the words "new toy," I think of the scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, when they drop off Cameron's dad's 1961 Ferrari GT at the valet and the valet drivers take it for a joy ride. Vroom Vroom!
