GIF Breakdown: Detroit Pistons at San Antonio Spurs

New, comments

The Spurs only needed 20 minutes from Tim Duncan in their win over the Detroit Pistons but the big man was great in his limited time. Let's check out his buckets.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Tim's first bucket came off of a LaMarcus Aldridge miss with a little tip-in. Patty Mills approves.

Then Duncan beat Andre Drummond with a fake, got the big man in the air and draws contact and finishes.

This is a pretty sweet 3-5 pick-and-roll with Kawhi Leonard feeding Duncan for an easy two.

Kawhi notched five assists on the night, here's another to Tim. Our old friend Aron Baynes stays glued to Tim's hip but a little righty hook drops for Big Fun.

Sometimes you can throw up nonsense and have it drop. Tim really seems to think he was fouled with no call, though, so I guess everything is square.

So this is some interesting defense from Drummond. Whoops.
