Kawhi Leonard added to his list of accomplishments, and matched his career-high in points, on Wednesday night before he left the game with a knee contusion.
If Kawhi Leonard doesn't return, his 32 pts and 8 rbds in fewer than 25 minutes is just the 4th time that has happened since 83-84.— Chris Itz (@Chris_Itz1) March 24, 2016
It's been nearly 15 years since a player in the NBA went for at least 32 and 8 in 25 minutes or less. Arvedes Sabonis was the last player to do it and as you can see, it's pretty rare for a player to do that kind of damage in that little time.
It's also the first time that a player under 6' 10" managed the feat.
Kawhi continues to enjoy the best season of his career and he has been incredible over his last 20 games, putting up 24 and 7 with 52%/43%/88% shooting splits.
