Trail Blazer expert thinks the Spurs have uncovered new layers of LaMarcus Aldridge's game

Spurs vs. Blazers means LMA playing against his old team, but it also means Dave Deckard and J.R. Wilco discussing the matchup from every unconventional angle that comes to mind.

It's my favorite time of year, Spurs vs. Blazers, because I get to shoot the breeze with one of the best conversationalists in the NBA writing community, Dave Deckard of Blazers Edge. He knows the NBA, he knows Portland basketball, he's as witty as they come, and he writes like the wind. It doesn't get any better than him.

For those who missed my conversations with him earlier in the year, feel free to catch up here and here.

As always, we're using ReplyAll to facilitate the conversation.

For the curious, ReplyAll is a fantastic and incredibly easy to use tool that enables conversations. Since I started doing the Fraternizing with the Enemy series of conversations back in 2010, it is the innovation that changed the process from the clunky mess it was, to the breeze it is today. Instead of cobbling together mounds of text from a dozen emails and wrestling with formatting, I can focus on the conversation and let a single line of HTML do the rest. Anyone who can benefit from such a tool should definitely check them out.
