Why bring Duncan back before the All Star break?

Whenever the Spurs play the Magic, Mike Tuck and Jerry O'Neill invite me to be on their show and talk about San Antonio and Orlando basketball. This time, we had a bit more to discuss than normal as news dropped this afternoon that after sitting out eight straight games, Tim Duncan would play.

Since it's the last game before the All Star festivities begin, the obvious question is why not give him more rest. And that's the first thing they asked me. You can TandO-wilco to see what I think is going on.
