While the Spurs have continued their extremely clutch play over the past week, they’ve also continued to play in a way that has required them to be clutch. (Aside from the second half of the Timberwolves game, that is.) That’s significant not only as a barometer for the team against the previous incarnations of the Spurs, but also because of what I think it reveals about Gregg Popovich’s mindset regarding the team.
