If you’re interested in getting a look at the Spurs’ D-League affiliate, here’s your chance. ESPN announced Tuesday morning that it will broadcast two Austin Spurs games on ESPNU in January: Austin’s game at Northern Arizona on Jan. 20, and a home rematch with Northern Arizona Jan. 26.
It’s not standard ESPN television, but Austin isn’t complaining.
Rookie Dejounte Murray will likely be available for both games, after tallying 30 points in Austin’s loss on Saturday. In his four D-League games this season, Murray is averaging 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.
Austin has lost three of its last four games en route to a 4-4 record.
