The San Antonio Spurs announced Saturday afternoon that they have assigned Davis Bertans and Dejounte Murray to the D-League Austin Spurs.
Both players will be available for Austin’s home game against Salt Lake City Saturday night.
In Bertans’ lone appearance in Austin, he posted 22 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals.
For Murray, he’s played in three games for Austin, averaging 16 points, seven rebounds and eight assists per game.
The back-and-forth continues with San Antonio and Austin as the rookies acquaint themselves with I-35 in the name of getting as much play time and experience as possible.
