The San Antonio Spurs announced Tuesday evening that they have assigned rookie Bryn Forbes to the D-League Austin Spurs.
The move comes just minutes after the club announced the waiving of Nico Laprovittola, so we may see some changes soon for San Antonio.
Without Laprovittola for good and Forbes for now, Spurs point guards now include Tony Parker, Patty Mills and Dejounte Murray, the latter of whom has seen an uptick in minutes lately — Murray started games on Dec. 22 and 23 against the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland, respectively.
Forbes has averaged 20.8 points in five games in Austin this season.
