Spurs send Danny Green, Bryn Forbes and Dejounte Murray to Austin

The San Antonio Spurs announced Sunday morning that they have assigned Danny Green, Bryn Forbes and Dejounte Murray to the D-League Austin Spurs.

For Green, it’s a rehabilitation move. The guard has yet to see the court this season, as he’s recovering from a left quad strain he suffered during training camp.

Forbes, a rookie, will make the trip for improvement purposes.

Murray will return to the D-League, after being assigned to Austin last Wednesday and recalled on Thursday. But with a few Spurs healing from injuries — Green and Tony Parker — it wouldn’t be unusual to see him recalled soon.

The Spurs return to action Wednesday night against the Rockets in San Antonio.
