The San Antonio Spurs said today that they have assigned guards Bryn Forbes, Nico Laprovittola and Dejounte Murray to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.
Forbes, who has played in 9 games for the Spurs and is averaging 1.1 points in 5.7 minutes, Laprovittola, who has also appeared in 9 games and is averaging 2.8 points and 1.3 assists in 9.2 minutes, and Murray, who has 10 games and a start to go along with his averages of 1.2 points in 4.2 minutes, once again are heading up to Austin to get some playing time.
As has been the case throughout the season and will likely continue to be the case, the trio of rookie guards will probably be called back to San Antonio at some point in the next week — if not immediately after the game. We will keep you posted on further changes.
