Spurs send Murray and Forbes back to Austin

The San Antonio Spurs announced Saturday morning that they have assigned rookies Dejounte Murray and Bryn Forbes to the D-League Austin Spurs.

The move comes ahead of Austin’s matchup with the Erie Bayhawks tonight at 7 p.m. that both players will be available for.

In his two games with Austin this season, Murray has averaged 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per game.

Forbes tallied seven points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in his lone game in Austin this year.
