The San Antonio Spurs announced Tuesday evening that they have recalled rookie Dejounte Murray from the D-League Austin Spurs.
The move comes just hours after sending him to Austin this morning, allowing Murray to play in Austin’s afternoon game against the Reno Bighorns.
Murray recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the game. In his two contests with Austin, the rookie has averaged 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
In his six games with San Antonio, he’s averaged 1.3 points per game.
Given what we’ve seen so far, it wouldn’t be unusual to see Murray sent back to Austin soon.
