The San Antonio Spurs announced Tuesday morning that they have assigned Dejounte Murray to the D-League Austin Spurs.
The rookie continues to be moved to wherever he can get the most experience. He was sent to Austin on Sunday, recalled on Sunday and sent back today. It’s Murray’s fourth trip to Austin this season.
In the Austin Spurs’ season-opener Monday, Murray recorded 18 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
In the six games he’s played in for San Antonio, Murray is averaging 1.3 points per game in 3.8 minutes.
