Spurs recall Bertans, Forbes and Murray from Austin

The San Antonio Spurs announced Monday morning that they have recalled Davis Bertans, Bryn Forbes and Dejounte Murray from the D-League Austin Spurs.

The Spurs shipped the trio to the D-League Sunday for Austin’s season-opener, a 118-95 loss to the Oklahoma City Blue. Bertans led all scorers with 22 points; Forbes carded seven, and Murray recorded 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

Now that San Antonio is at full-strength, the three may continue to be sent back and forth between San Antonio and Austin to get as much playing time as possible.

The Spurs host Miami tonight, while Austin returns to action Tuesday.
