The San Antonio Spurs announced Sunday morning that they have assigned Davis Bertans, Bryn Forbes and Dejounte Murray to the D-League Austin Spurs.
Rookies Murray and Forbes have seen this movie before. It’s Murray’s third time being sent to Austin, while Forbes will be assigned to the D-League for the second time this season.
Bertans will play in Austin for development purposes.
Of the trio, Bertans has seen the most action for San Antonio: in seven games, he averaged two points and two rebounds per game.
Forbes has played six games, averaging a point per contest.
Murray is averaging two points per game in the five games he’s played for the Spurs.
Austin’s season kicks off tonight at 6 p.m., and all three will be available for the game against the Oklahoma City Blue.
