The NBA announced Tuesday afternoon something new: its first-ever awards show.
NBA awards will be unveiled on televised show next June. (League has been mulling this for a few years.) pic.twitter.com/TuDseXBiHI

The show is slated for Monday, June 26, 2017 and will be televised by TNT. Each postseason award (Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, etc.) will be announced during the show, as opposed to throughout the summer, as in years past.
This means, that the final week of the NBA season will be pretty jam-packed: The Finals, then the awards show, then the draft, then free agency season.
The host and site yet to be announced.
