No matter what your expectations were for the first game between the Spurs and the Warriors, it’s unlikely that “Jonathon Simmons scores twenty” was among them. There were a lot of surprises on Opening Night, and Seth Warren and I discuss them all; from Kawhi Leonard shooting 15 freebies, to the Warrriors difficult night shooting, to Patty Mills’ excellent night, to the way San Antonio controlled the boards and protected the ball.
