It didn't take long for Parker to make history today.  He scored his first basket with 6:34 remaining in the first quarter of the game against Poland, becoming the most prolific scorer in Eurobasket history with 1,032 points. France went on to win 69-66, with Parker scoring 16 points to get to a career total of 1046 points in Eurobasket competition.

Let's congratulate Parker on another achievement in his incredible career, as he tries to lead France to the Eurobasket title.  France plays Russia on Wednesday and Israel on Thursday, which wraps up pool play. Playoffs begin on Saturday, September 12, and the competition wraps up on Sunday, September 20 with the first place and third place games.

In just over a month, Tony is going to be back at work at his other job, as a key contributor as the Spurs attempt to capture their sixth NBA title.
