After shooting 38% against the Knicks last night, the Spurs shot 50% from the floor against the second best defense in the league. Go figure.
The Spurs got good performances from just about everyone that suited up for the team, with six players scoring in double figures. They also played well as a team with 27 of their 38 field goals being assisted.
My man, Boris Diaw, played what was probably his best game of the season. He was aggressive and effective tonight, hitting five of his eight shots and all eight of his free throw attempts. He also chipped in five pretty assists and grabbed six rebounds. That's the Bobo we all want. Keep it up big man.
Sure the Spurs lost to the Knicks last night, but they're 8-2 over their last 10 and they've been winning by good margins. It's hard to peg the Spurs this season and it's going to be interesting to see how they fare over the next week.
Your Spurs improve to 42-25 and remain in the seventh seed.
Up Next:
The Spurs will host the Celtics on Friday night before a tougher stretch of games against Atlanta, Dallas (twice,) Memphis and OKC.
