Incredible Tim Duncan video tribute: Old Man Riverwalk

The best video tribute since last year's "The Beautiful Game"

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

I get sent a lot of things that people want me to share on PtR. But rarely do I see something that makes me drop everything I'm doing and post it immediately. This is one of those things.

I've never been much for calling Tim Duncan, Old Man Riverwalk, but this collection of Timmy videos throughout the years by YouTuber Normandie, set to Old Man River, by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein -- it's just so apropos. As I watched it, I must admit that it got a little misty at Casa Wilco.

Enjoy. I've included the lyrics below.

Old Man River, that Old Man River
He don't say nothin'
But he must know somethin'
He just keeps rollin'
He keeps on rollin' along.

He don't plant cotton
And he don't plan taters
And them what plants 'em
Are soon forgotten
But Old Man River just keeps rollin' along

You and me, we sweat and strain
Body all achin' and wracked with pain
Tote that barge, lift that bale
You get a little drunk and you lands in jail

I gets weary and sick of tryin'
I'm tired of livin' but I'm scared of dyin'
But Old Man River just keeps rollin' along

-- Thank you, Normandie. Thank you very much. Now I'll get back to making spaghetti for dinner.
