Big Three become regular season wins leader

New, comments

Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili won their 541st game together on Sunday and became the all-time leader in regular season wins by a trio. It's fitting that it came against the Celtics, whose legendary trio of Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish held the honor for more than 20 years.

The Silver and Black trio already have the all-time playoff wins record, having passed Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Cooper after Game Two of the 2014 Western Conference Finals.

Talk about accomplished.

We're all a little spoiled from all of that winning. This is a great opportunity to take a moment and think about just how great these three are and just how unlikely and unique their story has been. And it's not over yet!

For me, it's been a real joy to root for the good guys and witness all that they have accomplished and built in what is now their 14th season together. I really feel lucky to have been of the right age and location to have seen it all. A huge congratulations to The Biggest Three.
