GIF Breakdown: San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers

A quick look at some plays from the Spurs win in Portland.

Craig Mitchelldyer-USA TODAY Sports

Let's start this one with a great pass from Tim Duncan to Whi. Is there any question about who the best tosser of lobs and post entry passes is for the Spurs?

The second unit's chemistry and ball movement is so fun to watch. Boris Diaw, Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Rasual Butler were +11, +14, +14 and +16, respectively. LaMarcus led the starters with a +3.

Rasual Butler has proved to be a better fit with the team than Kyle Anderson so far. He can shoot and he doesn't need the ball in his hands, which is a good thing if you're going to play with Manu and Patty. Super sweet pass from Manu here.

Pump fake, dribble-drive finger roll from Danny Green. Why not?

Textbook.

This is a pretty routine jumper from LA, but I thought Danny's pass was worth another look or two.

Is it just me or does this make you unreasonably happy?

The motion and the passing are nice, but Manu's screen and Damian Lillard fighting through it are my favorite parts of this here play.

Seven passes lead to an open triple for Danny Green. "I want someone to over-pass."

That's it for this one, Pounders.
