Scott Brooks visits Spurs training camp

After being fired as the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder back in April of this year, Scott Brooks reportedly visited the Spurs training camp.

There is no question that Scott Brooks is a good coach. He led the Oklahoma City Thunder to the playoffs during his first year as head coach, took the team to the finals in 2012, and even earned himself Coach of the Year honors in 2010. But the Thunder organization wanted a championship, and felt it was time to take things in a new direction. Since his firing in April of this year, Brooks has reportedly passed up multiple interviews for head coaching jobs around the league and has been rumored to be "sitting out" the 2015-16 season.

Back in April, coach Pop had nothing but good things to say about Brooks and his coaching ability. It's no secret that Pop respects him. Recently, Brooks made a visit to San Antonio to visit the team's training camp.

This isn't the first time the legendary coach Pop has brought in other coaches to view training camp, so I wouldn't think too much into it. But it's good to see Scott Brooks still keeping in touch with guys around the league. We hope to see him coaching again soon.
