Marco Belinelli rated 75 overall in NBA 2K15

The reigning 3-Point Contest champion gets a 10-point increase in overall rating in this year's 2K installment.

Though we saw less of Marco Belinelli in the postseason, he'll still see a hefty overall rating improvement in NBA 2K15, according to a recent leak.

In NBA 2K14, Belinelli was rated at 65 overall at the release date, but he'll be at 75 overall when 2K15 drops next month. Remembering how All-Star Weekend went last season, it's easy to see the qualities in his game that propelled his improvement.

Belinelli won the 3-Point Contest after getting an invite due to a hot start to begin the 2013-14 season. He ended the year shooting 43% beyond the arc, which was seventh among players qualified to be in the league leader category.

The hot shooting percentages carried over to the postseason, but Belinelli's problem was that he didn't play as much. His minutes got cut by 10 per game in the playoffs since Danny Green provided the defense and Manu Ginobili got his postseason swagger back. Defense is easier to mask in the 2K series, however, which shouldn't be so concerning for those wanting to play him.

In 2K14, Belinelli had one of the more comfortable shooting touches for the Spurs, and it's safe to say his shooting stats will increase in 2K15. That should make him a fun and easy choice for a deep threat on your 2K15 team.
