OK, Pounders, we’re going two for one on this post. As the Spurs were looking to clinch home court advantage, they took on two teams that are fighting for their playoff lives. Judging from what was gathered behind enemy lines; I would say that the Mavs/Suns fans are well aware of the matchup problems the Spurs pose for their respective teams. Both games brought out a ton of pain and mental anguish for both opponents, but the Spurs did it in different ways. The topics ranged from making the playoffs, to seeding, respect for and hate of the Spurs. Mostly hate, though. There was plenty of good stuff going on, so I would recommend taking a trip over to MavsMoneyBall and BrightSideoftheSun for their full perspective. One of them was a bit of a cake walk and the other a roller coaster ride. Let’s check it out.
